Job Description Job Description We are looking for a
detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant/Senior Accountant to join a
growing organization. This role requires a blend of technical
accounting expertise and strong collaboration skills to ensure the
efficient management of financial processes. The ideal candidate
will play a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records
and supporting strategic decision-making. Responsibilities: •
Manage and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly bookkeeping
activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness. • Supervise invoicing
and collections processes to maintain efficient cash flow
operations. • Review and code accounts payable transactions while
ensuring proper documentation. • Perform payroll management tasks
and maintain accurate schedules offline. • Reconcile balance sheet
accounts to verify completeness and resolve discrepancies. • Post
and review journal entries to ensure financial transactions are
accurately recorded. • Assist in the preparation and consolidation
of financial statements for reporting purposes. • Lead the
month-end close process, ensuring all deadlines are met and reports
are accurate. • Collaborate with various departments to enhance
accounting workflows and improve overall efficiency. • A minimum of
three years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality
industry. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely
related field is preferred. • Proficiency in Excel and other Office
applications. • Strong knowledge of general ledger, accounts
payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes. • Experience
with inventory accounting and revenue recognition principles. •
Ability to perform detailed financial analysis and variance
reporting. • Expertise in preparing and reconciling balance sheets
and journal entries. • Proven ability to lead month-end close
procedures and streamline accounting operations.
