This advertisement is for multiple SES positions located at Central
Office in Employee Relations in Tallahassee, Florida.Salary Rate:
$34,501.48 annually, $1,326.98 biweeklySALARY WILL BE DETERMINED IN
ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT PAY POLICY.SPECIFIC DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:This position is assigned to the Employee
Relations Section of the Human Resources Office. The incumbent will
be responsible for preparing and processing all levels of
counseling memoranda, written reprimands, predetermination
conferences letters, final action letters, dismissals and other
related disciplinary correspondence. Enters information into the
discipline database as needed. Will review career service and union
grievances and prepare responses as needed and enter information
into Human Resources Tracking System. This position serves as the
Employee Relations Contact for assigned Institutions, Community
Corrections Offices or other assigned areas.* Prepares supervisory
counseling memoranda, record of counseling, written reprimands,
non-appealable dismissal letters, disciplinary worksheets,
predetermination conference letters, final action letters and other
related disciplinary correspondence as needed.* Creates new files
as needed and logs new incoming cases into SharePoint.* Enters
appropriate data correctly into Human Resources Tracking System
(HRTS) as needed.* Enters separation information into Florida
Department of Law Enforcement's Automated Training Management
System (ATMS) as needed.* Serves as point of contact for processing
career service and union grievances.* Prepares responses as needed,
creates files, enters information into Human Resources Tracking
System (HRTS), and forward copies as appropriate.* Assists the
Human Resource Analyst as needed for Employee Assistant Program
referrals.* Completes mandatory and supervisory referrals as
needed, completes files and enters information into SharePoint.*
Assists the Drug Testing Coordinator as needed with Random Drug
Testing, Reasonable Suspicion Alcohol and Drug Testing, CDL Random
Alcohol and Drug testing, enters results into the CDC database as
needed.* Utilizes various computer programs, including but not
limited to People First, Internet, CDC, ATMS, Impromptu, and
various word processing, database, and spread sheet applications.*
Compiles and maintains data relating to employee relations,
employee programs, and other areas of management interest.*
Provides appropriate reports as needed.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND
ABILITIES (KSA's):The incumbent should be proficient with Microsoft
Word, Excel and SharePoint; should be able to work independently
with minimal supervision. Applicant must have the ability to
communicate effectively and maintain professional working
relationship with supervisors and co-workers. Incumbent should have
knowledge of State of Florida Personnel Rules.* Knowledge of
agency's rules, policies and procedures.* Knowledge of computer
software including applications.* Knowledge of the methods of data
collection.* Knowledge of negotiation and trying to reconcile

related documents.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* The applicant should
have at least two (2) years of experience in one of more of the
areas such as Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Recruitment,
Payroll, Leave and Attendance, Classification and Pay, Employee
Benefits, professional office experience preparing and tracking
action letters, legal documents, preparing/reviewing investigative
materials; and/or other similar correspondence.* The applicant
should have experience reviewing and processing information from
multiple documents and various sources to prepare an official
document;* Education can substitute for the required experience at
the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours per year.Support of
