Job Description:

Impact Recruitment is currently searching for a highly motivated Roadway Design Engineer to join our client's team in Tallahassee, FL.

The ideal candidate will assist a team of Engineers on a variety of projects such as Roadway design, Drainage design, and Engineering studies by performing engineering-related tasks including research, development, design, plans production and delivery on assigned project(s).

What you'll be doing:

  Contributes to the preparation or modification of reports, plans and designs for projects using latest software and 3D Design Techniques. -
  
  
  
• 
  
  Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates. -
  
  
  
• 
  
  Performs other duties as assigned. -
  
  
  
• 
  
  Participate in the collection and analysis of data and preparation of satisfactory designs. - -
  
  
  
• 
  
  Perform design calculations and conduct investigative analyses toward completion of assigned design tasks, and direct preparation of design specifications.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  What you need to have:
  
  
  
  • 
    
  • 
    
    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
    
    
    
  • 
    
    Emphasis in Transportation engineering (if a focus was required for degree)
    
    
    
  • 
    
    Previous FDOT experience desired but not required -
    
    
    
  • 
    
    EIT (E.I) Certification is desired but not required -
    
    
    
  • 
    
    Experience with MicroStation (preferred) and/or AutoCAD
