Job Summary:An up and coming firm in Miramar, FL is seeking an Engineering Design Manager to join its team. This exciting role will lead the R&D team on innovative mechanical and electrical product development.As Engineering Design Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of engineers while overseeing mechanical and electrical designs. Using Solidworks, you will produce 2D and 3D models and design packages for production. The Design Manager will conduct FEA analysis, DFMEA/FMEA reporting, and ensure electrical integration.Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in product design and 5 in a leadership position. Solidworks expertise is a must. Knowledge of sheet metal products, mechanism design, and overseeing complex engineering projects is preferred.Location: MIRAMAR, FloridaJob Type: PermanentSalary: $140,000 - 170,000 per yearWork Hours: 8am to 4pmEducation: Bachelor'sResponsibilities:
