Warren Averett Staffing and Recruiting is seeking a General Manager for an established company in Panama City, FL. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to customer service, understand how to motivate a team and work under an extremely high sense of urgency. Must live in the area for this position; no remote work option.
Responsibilities--- Manage day-to-day operational decision making within a fast-paced business --- Increase sales and gross margin and meet sales goals --- Effectively control costs --- Generate the planned return on investment --- Build and train your team --- Project staffing needs based on demands --- Execute and follow through with plans --- Identify and implement initiatives that are well-aligned with the company's strategic plan --- Embrace, support and practice a collaborative style in order to achieve results with and through others
--- Requirements--- Bachelor's degree preferred --- Highly motivated to get things done the right away --- Excellent communication skills, listening, speaking, writing --- Highly confident and persuasive --- Must enjoy being constantly challenged --- Proficient with smartphones, computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook --- Must live within the branch territory --- Strong financial acumen - must feel comfortable using Key Performance metrics and financial statements to manage the business and excel as a leader --- HVAC, plumbing, and/or electrical license or experience a plus --- HVAC, plumbing, and/or electrical service and replacement a plus
