Senior Associate, IT Project Management to join our Digital Nexus
organization.Responsibilities:
- Enable the use of PMO tools and best practices for projects; as
a Project Coordinator, collaborate with the Project or Program
Manager and team
- Lead team meetings, publish meeting notes, and action items,
ensure follow up with Project Manager, update project documents and
systems, ensure timely completion of action items
- Consult with internal customers to develop and approve project
definition documents, including scope, approach, plans, resource
requirements, high level requirements, budget forecasts, schedules,
risk registers, and benefits realization estimates; identify,
manage, and control changes to scope, schedule, and budget, update
all project documentation accordingly in compliance with PMO
quality standards and timelines
- Report project status and participate in project review
meetings; act as the project advocate and primary point of contact
for risk and issue management and escalation
- Establish collaborative relationships with project teams and
customers, demonstrating a clear understanding of both internal and
external customer requirements and success criteria; understand,
integrate, and align with other internal organizations as well as
operational and business processes
- Facilitate and lead post project/phase reviews to cultivate a
'learning organization; evolve project management capabilities,
improve delivery of solutions to business customers, and leverage
project management knowledge across the IT
organizationQualifications:
- Minimum three years of recent project management skills with
experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects from
definition through implementation, involving internal personnel and
consultants
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is
preferred
- Ability to independently manage three to four low complexity
(or low to medium risk) projects concurrently
- Ability to build collaborative teams, with ability to
influence, educate and interact with various levels within the
organization
- Comprehensive knowledge of full lifecycle project management,
software development, and/or infrastructure deployment
methodologies and industry best practices; experience with Agile /
Scrum methodology a plus
- Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving,
analytical and independent judgment skills to support an
environment driven by customer service and teamwork; ability to
positively influence, mentor and be a credible source of knowledge
