To learn more, visit www.publicconsultinggroup.com . **Responsibilities** + Works with Business Project Manager to ensure the timely delivery of all project IT components based on the functional requirements delivered by Business on budget and with high quality. + As a scrum master, assist in managing the work of individual Business Analysts, Build Engineers and QA Engineers. + Ensure that all IT delivery projects adhere to the Software Development Life Cycle process. + Primary point of contact for technical topics between the client, vendor, and business and HSD teams. + Responsible to work with the business team and the client in defining the priorities and timelines for each project. + Responsible for making sure each project is on schedule, on budget, and within scope while keeping the management informed of the status of each project. + Manages IT risks in conjunction with the Business Project Manager (identifies IT risks, identifies required mitigation plans and follows up on implementation of plans). + Acts as a communication channel between Business (Client requirements, constraints, risks, etc.) and the IT team to ensure that IT priorities are in line with Business priorities (Business represents the client priorities). + Ensures quality by reviewing test comprehensiveness and results before changes are implemented in production. + Ensure systems operations and performance exceed client requirements and expectations. + Balance maintenance with development activities to ensure systems are current, stable while incorporating system enhancements. + Interfaces with Infrastructure team to ensure performance and availability service levels are met. + Escalates any issues requiring the intervention of IT higher management to the appropriate levels. + Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time and multiple scope items in a single project. + Ability to conversate with clients and HSD in technical terms. + Ability to understand the complexity of work involved to make informed decisions on timelines. + Ability to review database design and sign off on database design + Ability to perform data analysis in SQL **Qualifications** Education: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required Experience: 10+ years experience in IT project management, preferably working directly with clients through a full system development lifecycle + Previous large scale system development and maintence experience + Experienced in managing system development teams in Agile environment Certification: Project Management Certification (PMP, CSM, CAPM) desired, but not required Required Skills: + Exposure to multiple software development methodologies preferred (Waterfall, Agile, etc). + Demonstrated ability to manage projects. + Excellent problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication skills. + Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) + Ability to work well under pressure + Able to work with an ambiguous or undefined set of requirements or expectations + Self-starter / Strong initiative + Ability to interact with all levels of client personnel (end user, management, executive, technical, business) + Able to defuse conflicts including internal or external teams + Excellent planning abilities, tactical and strategic + Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously + In depth technical prowess including software engineering and information technology + Extensive knowledge of SQL + Able to manage a development team or system analyst team Able to foresee operational needs as part of development and incorporate those in the design of the system to include business reporting (invoice metrics/volumes) and client reporting needs. #LI-remote **Compensation** **Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.?As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $103,234-$198,830** **.
