HURRICANE DOCKSIDE GRILL - ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY

The assistant restaurant manager is responsible for the day to day shift operations of a family restaurant with bar responsibilities. The Assistant Restaurant Manager assists with training, inventory management, hiring, etc. They work with the general manager to achieve objectives in sales, food and labor costs, team member retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, and sanitation.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

The assistant restaurant manager reports directly to the general manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times
• Ensures that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the Hurricane Dockside recipe and standards
• Assists with the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies
• Reports all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to general manager
• Schedules labor as required by anticipating business activity and ensuring that all positions are staffed as needed
• Fully understands and complies with all regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements
• Provides advice and suggestions to General Manager as needed to ensure location is running effectively and efficiently
• Must have bar management experience
• Must have valid driving license
