The selected candidate will join a team servicing the Florida Department of Transportation as well as other clients with GIS analysis, Esri software configuration, LRS data maintenance workflows, road inventory data development, location referencing transportation assets, business process re-engineering, dataset analysis, data governance, and integrating business systems. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• 
  
• Provide technical management and guidance to GIS related projects and tasks
  
• Support the design, development, and maintenance of geodatabase schemas
  
• Assist and or lead in the design of data development and data maintenance workflows
  
• Test and document applications and systems functionality
  
• Provide support for GIS data conversion, systems integration, and applications configuration
  
• Provide guidance on establishing data governance policies and procedures
  
• Curate, author, and publish map, feature, geoprocessing, and other REST based services
  
• Design and implement system and user training plans
  
• Lead knowledge transfer of various aspects of the GIS software and data workflows
  
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve problems with the use of GIS and related software
  
• Lead the development of quality control procedures and data validation checks
  
• Assist in the implementation, configuration, and training of -Esri Roads and Highways
  
• Configure and deploy Esri's ArcGIS solutions, apps, and extensions:Web AppBuilder, Experience Builder, Dashboards, Knowledge, GeoBIM, QuickCapture, PowerBI, FieldMaps
  
• Develop and perform data quality analysis and quality control processes
  
• Test application enhancements, and document workflow procedures and processes
  
• Support the client with technical skills to execute their mission
  
• Provide technical support to client and fellow team members
  
• Lead visioning / brainstorming sessions to identify and solve business problems
  
• Maintain currency GIS technology and best practices within the GIS community
  
• Lead functional and business requirements gathering and system design meetings
  
• Ability to execute and understand geoprocessing / ETL models and scripts
  
• Lead/attend project meetings as required and present to the client on task/work progress

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Geography, GIS, Information Systems or related field required or certification
    
  • 5-10 years' experience working with GIS applications, specifically Esri solutions (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online)
    
  • Production experience of ArcGIS Collector, ArcGIS Survey123 and mobile data collection workflows
    
  • Knowledge of roadway data, transportation business systems, related reporting requirements
    
  • Experience with Agile project management

        Salary Range: $78,500 - $100,000 Salary dependent upon experience and geographic location
