Management - Information GovernanceWe are seeking a highly skilled
and motivated individual to join our team as the Director of
Information Governance. This leadership position will play a
pivotal role in partnering with business leaders from a product
management perspective to define the strategy for Information
Governance. Information Governance (IG) assists customers to
transform their information management practices resulting in
reduced risk, increased efficiency and enhanced information value.
This includes the identification and handling of information
legally, securely, efficiently and effectively in order for our
customers to deliver higher value outcomes.The successful candidate
will be responsible for evangelizing Information Governance
practices and transforming a range of our tools, services,
products, and offerings into a cohesive and customer-centric
suite.Responsibilities:Strategy Development: Collaborate with
business leaders and cross-functional teams to formulate a robust
Information Governance strategy aligned with the company's vision
and objectives. Identify key focus areas, assess market trends, and
incorporate industry best practices to drive the company's growth
and competitive advantage.Product Management: Lead the effort to
create a unified product offering by wrapping a product framework
around various tools, services, products, and solutions, including
the Content Services Platform (CSP), Intelligent Document
Processing (IDP), and Policy Center Solution (PCS)
software.Evangelize Information Governance: Act as a passionate
advocate for Information Governance practices within the
organization. Educate and communicate the value of Information
Governance to stakeholders, including executives, clients, and
internal teams. Support marketing team for external
audiences.Collaborative Partnership: Develop strong partnerships
with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, legal, and
compliance, to ensure the seamless integration of Information
Governance into our existing products and services and facilitate
effective go-to-market strategies.Market Analysis: Stay abreast of
industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes
affecting Information Governance. Conduct market research and
gather customer feedback to inform product development and
enhancement decisions.Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a
high-performing team of Information Governance professionals. Set
clear objectives, provide ongoing feedback, and create a supportive
environment that fosters growth and development.Innovation and
Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation in Information Governance
methodologies, technologies, and processes to enhance the overall
efficiency and effectiveness of the product offerings. Continuously
seek opportunities for improvement and implement best practices to
achieve business objectives.Governance and Compliance: Collaborate
with legal and compliance teams to ensure that Information
Governance practices adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and
industry standards, mitigating potential risks and
liabilities.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business, policy,
or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree preferred.10
years of experience as an Information Governance practitioner,
consultant, product management, or a related field, with a
successful track record of leading and delivering transformative
projects.Extensive knowledge of Information Governance principles,
best practices, and industry standards.Demonstrated experience in
developing and executing product strategies to meet business
objectives and customer needs.Proven ability to collaborate and
influence at all levels of the organization, fostering productive
relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.Strong
leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire a diverse
team of professionals.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving
skills, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on continuous
improvement.Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
including the ability to present complex technical information to
non-technical audiences.Familiarity with industry-specific
regulations, and compliance requirements is a plus.Professional
certifications in Information Governance, Product Management, or
