Job Description:
The OR RN is responsible for assisting surgeons in the OR.
Operating Room Nurses will prep the OR and the patient for the
procedure and make sure that all medical equipment is clean and
working properly.ResponsibilitiesOperating Room Registered Nurse
responsibilities consist of:
Monitoring the health of the patient before, during and after the
operation.
Anticipate the needs of the surgeons and give instruments and
medical supplies to them during procedures.
Collecting and labeling all items needed for lab examinations.
RequirementsOne year of experience as an OR Nurse within the past
two years.
Active Nursing License in good standing.
Current BLS through American Heart Association.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
