Job DescriptionCome join our team!Canopy Cove is a Christian-based Eating Disorder Treatment Center with 30 years of experience treating eating disorders. Our center is located on 55 beautiful acres in Tallahassee, Florida, and offers separate programs for adults and adolescents. We offer 3 levels of care: Residential, Partial Hospitalization, and Intensive Outpatient. Our CARF accredited program is growing, and we have an opening for an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our multi-disciplinary team. As a CMA with Canopy Cove, you would be responsible for implementation and compliance with all aspects of our medical policy and procedure within the Canopy Cove Residential program. The CMA will help support the other nurse on shift with medication management, daily vitals & routine health assessments. CMA's will ensure prescription and non-prescription medications are acquired in a timely manner, accurately documented, and administered by the nursing staff per medication Policy and Procedure document. CMA's will participate in direct client care as needed in the following areas: meal supervision, milieu supervision & group therapy on medical-related topics.Shift: Full time- hours are 8pm-8amDuties & Responsibilities:

• Fully understand and comprehend current and future Canopy Cove Policies for employees and clients
• Ensure client vitals are measured and recorded on a daily basis
• Liaison with the Nurse Manager/Medical Director to ensure routine medical needs are provided
• Coordinate medical care between clients and non-Canopy Cove medical professionals when required
• Meal supervision and participation under the direction and training of the site registered dietitianQualifications:
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in the state of Florida
