As an Emergency Room Registered Nurse Float, you will provide
direct nursing care in accordance with established policies,
procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Your tasks
and responsibilities include assessing plans and evaluates patient
care needs.Qualifications Required Job Qualifications include:
Current FL RN License required or appropriate compact licensure. If
compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days
of hire.
Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider.
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Customer service abilities including effective listening
skills.
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work
with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending,
reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or
equipment up to 50 pounds.
Eligibility limited to full time RNs with one (1) year clinical
experience in past 3 years
Available to work all shifts
Assigned where needed based on competency
Must comply with all hospital policies and procedures including,
but not limited to, Service Care Standards.
Must meet attendance and punctuality requirements.
Must meet unit certification requirements
Must maintain all annual requirements, including but not limited
to, Code of Conduct training, licensure and certification renewals,
PPD, competencies, skills fair attendance, annual performance
evaluation.
Must comply with all needs of hospital record keeping.
Must perform all duties to professional standards and as
assigned.
Work 72 hours per pay period
Work two (2) weekends per month (4 weekend shifts), based on unit
needs
Work four (4) major holidays per year
Weekend requirements are scheduled based on unit needs
