Podiatric Medicine opening in Panama City, Florida. Mobile Podiatrist for the West Coast of Florida Large Podiatry group is seeking full-time and part-time Independent Contractor Podiatrists to see patients in nursing homes. This is an excellent position for a Podiatrist that enjoys working independently and wants a flexible schedule. At the beginning of each month you would call into the office to make your schedule for the month. Well established Podiatry group is seeking Board Certified/Eligible Podiatrists to work in the Panhandle region of Florida. Providers must live commutable to this area. Full time consists of 5 days a week, two sessions per day, flexible days. Flexible days and sessions for part timers. You will see approximately 25 patients per session. After each session you will log into their computer portal to record your visits. The office will provide you with the list of patients to prior to your visit so you know exactly who you will be seeing and the nursing staff will have patients ready for you. Most of the sessions consist of routine podiatric care, diabetic nephropathy, skin and nails. Surgery patients will be referred out. Since you will be an Independent contractor you will need to provide your own tools, malpractice insurance, car, gas and valid driver s license. Must have a Florida license and have a Medicare and Public Aide number. The facilities are within reasonable driving distance from each other. They offer a very competitive per diem rate of pay per nursing home session.
