Job Description:

RN/Nursing Supervisor - Nursing Operations - Full TimeResponsibilities

Serve as a resource person and problem solver for the nursing staff; interpret policies and procedures for nursing and administration, provide information and support for family members and patients, resolve complaints, and handle calls and paperwork for patient transfers. Follows all policies, procedures, and requirements of TMH, and actively supports a commitment to the mission and vision of TMH, consistently displaying behaviors in harmony with the I CARE values.

Reports:

RN/Director Patient Flow

Supervises:

Float Pool staff: Nurse Extern, Patient Care Assistant, Sitter, LPN, Monitor Tech and Unit Secretary

Qualifications

Required Education:

Strongly Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in nursing

Required Experience:

Minimum: 2 years of RN experience; Preferred: 5 years as RN and 2 years as supervisor

Required Certification/License/Registry:

Current license to practice as an RN in Florida
