We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsThe Stress Lab RN PRN is responsible to perform diagnostic cardiovascular studies to the cardiac patient in both the outpatient and inpatient setting. Provides nursing care by assessing the patient pre-procedure and assists the Cardiologist in the various diagnostic cardiac testing. Examples: Trans-Esophageal Echocardiograms (TEE's) Exercise Stress Testing, Nuclear Stress Testing, Stress Echo's with or without the use of contrast, Dobutamine Stress tests and Tilt Table Tests. Administers conscious sedation and other prescribed medication or pharmacological agents during and post cardiac testing. The RN accepts rotating weekends and holiday on call responsibilities for the Stress Lab.
  
  • Current FL RN License
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications thru American Heart Association
  • Experience in Arrahythmia analysis and cardiac anatomy
  • Stress Lab experience preferredThis role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is a 238-bed acute care hospital.
