Registered Nurse – Free-Standing Emergency Room (FSED) Location:
Lake Jackson, Tallahassee, FL Shifts Available: Days, Nights, and
Mids Job Type : Full Time Position Summary: We are seeking an
experienced and adaptable Emergency Room RN to join the team at a
Free-Standing Emergency Department. This role is ideal for a nurse
who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident in their
clinical decision-making, multitasking, and critical thinking
skills. You will care for patients of all ages with conditions
ranging from minor injuries to acute or critical emergencies. Key
Responsibilities: Triage, assess, and provide care for patients of
all age groups Develop and implement individualized care plans
based on patient needs and medical assessments Coordinate with
physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, effective
care Educate patients and families on follow-up care and discharge
instructions Prioritize and manage multiple cases simultaneously in
a high-acuity setting Participate in patient safety and quality
improvement initiatives Maintain clear, accurate documentation of
patient care and treatment outcomes Qualifications: Required:
Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience in an
acute care setting Licensure: Active Florida RN license or
multi-state compact license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required;
BSN preferred Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) – required
before start date Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – within 90
days of hire Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – within 90
days of hire Nonviolent Crisis Intervention – within 90 days of
