Collaborate with physicians regarding therapy effectiveness and serve as a knowledgeable resource for both physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed. Choose day or night shifts that suit your schedule! No mandatory weekend, holiday, or specific shift requirements. GIG Highlights: $30 (CRT) - $35 (RRT) per hour base rate W-2 Employee status Variable shift incentives Options for 4, 8, or 12-hour shifts Overview: Provide direct patient care in all areas of respiratory therapy, adhering to physician orders. Consult with physicians regarding therapy effectiveness and act as a resource for nursing and medical staff on respiratory care. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary. Qualifications: Education: Graduate from a CoArc accredited Respiratory Care program. Licensure: Must meet state licensure requirements and hold a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license. Certifications: Must possess either the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). PALS certification is required for those working in the Emergency Room, along with ACLS certification. Experience: A minimum of one year of experience is required, excluding orientation time. Other: Physical demands include the ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs, as well as pinch up to 10 lbs, kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally.
