(Non-Exempt) Overview: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers
direct patient care under the guidance of registered nurses or
licensed prescribers within a cardiac care unit. Key
responsibilities encompass telemetry monitoring, administering
medications, and aiding patients with mobility, all while ensuring
patient confidentiality and coordinating care effectively.
Applicants must possess a valid LPN license and Basic Life Support
certification, and should be prepared for both day and night

This role employs the nursing process to deliver patient care under
the supervision of individuals licensed by a State regulatory board
to prescribe treatments or under the direction of a Registered
Professional Nurse (RN). The LPN maintains professional
accountability for the care provided to assigned patients and
collaborates with other departments to coordinate patient care
while upholding patient rights and confidentiality. Position
Highlights: Sign-On Bonus for New Graduates: $2,000 Experienced LPN
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 PTO Frontload: Up to 40 hours for
full-time experienced LPNs The 4B Cardiac Unit features 31 beds and
specializes in adult cardiac care, including drug loading,
post-angioplasty care, congestive heart failure, vascular, and
medical patients. Shift schedules include both day and night
rotations, with weekend duties every two weeks. Key clinical skills
required include: Telemetry Monitoring Pacemaker/ICA Care
Post-Angioplasty Care TR Band Management BiPap Administration
Management of 5 Main Medication Drips Qualifications: Education:
Completion of an accredited practical nursing program; equivalent
educational experience and successful licensure may also be
considered. Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a
current LPN license in the state of employment, adhering to all
State Board of Nursing regulations. Physical Requirements: Must be
able to stand or walk for the majority of the shift; involves
considerable bending, stooping, and the ability to lift and turn
patients with assistance; capable of pushing, pulling, or gripping
up to 50 pounds. Experience: Open to both new and seasoned LPNs.
Certifications: Basic Life Support certification from the American
Heart Association or completion of the course within 30 days of
