Services role today! Job Summary and Qualifications The Vice
President Emergency Services North Florida Division is responsible
for service line leadership of Emergency Room (ER) services,
encompassing operations, growth initiatives, leadership
development, and patient experience. This role serves as the lead
executive for Emergency Operations, including Free Standing
Emergency Rooms, focusing on outreach, growth, alignment, and
network integrity. The VP ER will also be the point executive for
growth initiatives, working in partnership with Physician Practice
Resources (PPR). Major Responsibilities: • Provide service line
leadership for ER services across the North Florida Division. •
Lead executive for Emergency Operations, including Free Standing
Emergency Rooms, focusing on growth and network integrity. • Drive
growth initiatives in partnership with PPR. • Operationalize
expectations for throughput and productivity by standardizing
workflows. • Develop and maintain key relationships with hospital
C-suite and other leaders. • Foster leadership development and
succession planning within the ER teams. • Focus on patient
experience and coordinate action plans to address concerns. • Lead
outreach, growth, alignment, and network integrity for Free
Standing Emergency Rooms. • Partner with PI teams to align
priorities and balance operational efficiencies with clinical
demands. • Collaborate with PPR to understand EMS relationships and
destination decisions. • Standardize workflows and processes to
improve throughput and productivity. • Collaborate closely with
Performance Improvement and Nursing with material time on-site at
hospitals to observe workflows and identify improvement
opportunities. • Develop relationships with hospital C-suite,
inpatient unit leaders, radiology leaders, and transport to improve
throughput. • Standardize policies and equipment purchases to
eliminate siloed decision-making and achieve cost savings. • Bring
ED leaders together to share best practices, set standards, and
create accountability. • Provide leadership development
opportunities to ER leaders. • Serve as a point of contact and
resource for ED leaders, providing guidance and advice. • Create
monthly council and accountability structure for local teams. •
Focus on patient concerns and coordinate action plans to improve
patient experience. • Develop relationships with on-site ED
physicians and providers. • Provide immediate recognition to staff
for jobs well done. Education & Experience: • Bachelors Degree
Required • Masters Degree or other approved education plan Required
• 5 year’s experience in healthcare Required • 5 year’s experience
