Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Dothan, AL Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,092 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position ```htmlJob Opportunity – Labor & Delivery / LDRP Registered Nurse – Alabama Start Date: March 2, 2026 Location: Dothan, Alabama Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 3x12 Night Shift, 1900-0700; Every other weekend required; 1:2 patient ratio; No floating Highlights: LDRP unit caring for labor patients and antepartum patients down to 27 weeks gestation Manage high-acuity patients including PIH on Magnesium therapy and preterm labor cases Monthly facility birth volume of 100-200 deliveries in a teaching hospital environment Charting with EPIC and GE Centricity systems Comprehensive patient care including NST, continuous fetal monitoring, IV starts, amnioinfusion, and epidural assistance 24-hour orientation provided; first-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year experience Requirements: Active Alabama RN license at time of application Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery / LDRP experience required Previous charge experience required Patient ratio experience of 1:2 required Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Experience with high-risk deliveries, vaginal births, and C-section recovery Proficiency in fetal monitoring (external and internal), IUPC placement, and spiral electrode placement Competency in medication administration including Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, prostaglandins, and anticoagulation therapy Skills in neonatal resuscitation, breastfeeding support, and postpartum care COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only); Flu vaccination required (no exemptions) Candidates must reside outside 90-mile local radius Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a high-volume teaching hospital environment where you'll care for a diverse patient population ranging from routine labor cases to complex high-risk obstetrical conditions.
