Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Albany, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,218 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 17 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor Pool Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12-hour Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience or 1 travel assignment License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ASLS, NIHSS Must-Have: C-section experience required. Description: Strict 75-mile radius rule applies. Candidates should have 2 years of experience and at least one travel assignment or 4 years of experience without travel. No requests for time off until after the specified date for crisis rates. Candidates will participate in an interview process. The interview notes and profiles will be sent for confirmation. There will not be a second interview. The facility has a specific set of requirements and guidelines. Typical nurse to patient ratio is 1:6. Certified Nurse Aides and OB techs are available, typically at a ratio of 1:8 or 1:10. Weekend requirements are every other week. On-call duty is low census. Holidays rotate with permanent staff. Scrub color is Caribbean blue. Telemetry monitoring is available on different units. Ventilator support includes BIPAP, CPAP, and vapotherm. Pharmacy services are available 24/7. Shifts start at 6:45 AM for 12-hour duration. Floating is required to other units. Floor-specific orientation will be provided. Patients treated may vary across a range of diagnoses. Flexibility with changing assignments during a shift is expected. Additional information about the population and distance to nearby cities can be provided upon request. Cancellation policy is 12 hours every 2 weeks. Charting system utilized is MEDITECH. BSN is not required. Trauma level information and care setting details are applicable.
