Job Description Position Title: Medical Assistant Location: Duval County, Florida Work Environment: Open workstation & clinical area Dress Code: Scrubs (Preferably Navy Blue) Position Overview We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care services in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have strong phlebotomy skills, injection experience, and the ability to accurately document patient information. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care services in a clinical environment Perform phlebotomy procedures Administer IM and subcutaneous injections Measure and record accurate blood pressure readings Interview patients and obtain complete medical histories Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Distribute prescribed medications as directed Use HMS (Health Management System) and Microsoft Office Ensure compliance with clinical safety protocols Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff Required Qualifications Medical Assistant Certification (Required) Knowledge of basic medical terminology Experience in phlebotomy and administering injections Strong documentation skills Effective communication skills Ability to work in a clinical/open workstation environment
