with changing assignments during the shift Description: The
position is for a Registered Nurse in a medical surgical setting.
Candidates must have 2 years of nursing experience, including one
travel assignment or 4 years without travel. The nurse will work a
night shift schedule and will be responsible for providing care to
a diverse patient population. Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is
1:6. Assistance from nurse aides is available, with a general ratio
of 1:8 or 1:10. Nurses may be asked to float to other areas as
needed, including orthopedic, neurological, oncology, and acute
care. Monitored telemetry is available on different units.
Ventilation support can include BIPAP and CPAP, which are only
utilized during nighttime hours. There will be a requirement to
rotate holidays with permanent staff. Cancellations can occur with
a policy of 12 hours every 2 weeks. The charting system used is
