Job Description:
Join HCA Healthcare as a Labor and Delivery RN in our dynamic
team to deliver compassionate, high-quality medical care in one of
the most critical and joyful departments of nursing. You will be
instrumental in providing care to mothers and their newborns during
labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. Our Labor and Delivery
RNs play a pivotal role in ensuring the health and safety of both
baby and mother while maintaining a soothing environment. You will
also have the unique opportunity to participate in humanitarian
assistance initiatives, expanding your professional experience and
making meaningful contributions to the lives of your patients.
Monitor fetal heart rate and mother’s vital signs, noting any
variances to intervene appropriately. Administer medications,
perform epidurals and initiate other pain management techniques.
Assist during labor and delivery, providing both emotional support
and clinical intervention as needed. Educate mothers and families
on postpartum care and newborn care. Supervise and guide supporting
nursing staff. Expertise in fetal monitoring and labor management.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Proficient in
the use of medical software for patient care management. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Currently registered
as a Registered Nurse (RN). BLS/CPR Certification required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation
Program (NRP) certification preferred.
