Job Description Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is a

practices. Qualifications Required Education: - Graduate of an
accredited Respiratory Care Program Preferred Experience: - 2 years
experience as an RRT practicing in a Neonatal, Pediatric or Adult
patient population. Validation of competencies for a Respiratory
Therapist Critical Care. Required Certification/License/Registry: -
Must possess & maintain licensure as a Registered Respiratory
Therapist with the State of Florida Department of Health and the
National Board of Respiratory Care - Possess Current Basic Life
Support Certification (BLS) AND Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Certification (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification
(PALS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP)
preferred-must be obtained within 90 days of start. Incentives:

Respiratory Therapy team combines expertise, cutting-edge

breathing treatments to critical cases requiring advanced
intervention, you will be challenged to think on your feet and
adapt to your patients’ needs. We are seeking a Respiratory
Therapist to help us continue bringing advanced respiratory care to
our patients. - In accordance with department and hospital policies
and procedures, a Respiratory Therapist must administer general
respiratory care modalities, operate independently in all adult
intensive care areas and function as a Code Captain in at least one
patient population: Adult, Pediatric or Neonatal. - With an
emphasis on continuing education, a therapist must develop and
broaden assessment skills, communication skills and knowledge base
within these areas while preparing for the next level of
respiratory therapy in Pediatric, Neonatal and Critical Care. - A
therapist should be competent to perform all duties and
responsibilities of a shift lead and function as an alternate shift
lead therapist. - A role in Respiratory Care requires collaboration
with multiple members of a patient's care team, including the
implementation and monitoring of all therapeutic modalities per
physicians' orders. - A therapist must provide on call staffing for
