Job Description Psych Hospitalist Opening in Alabama -Located in Dothan, AL.-Full Time & Permanent Position.Hospital employed Psychiatry group seeks a BC/BE Psych Hospitalist to join our busy practice. Current staffing model consists of 2 teams with 2 Psychiatrists per team, working 14 days on and then 14 days off. Our comprehensive team treats adult inpatients with separate programs for Mood and Anxiety disorders, Geriatrics, Substance Abuse, Consultation and Liaison, and Intensive Psychiatric Programs. Behavioral Medicine Unit (BMU) licensed for 48 beds with a current bed capacity of 28. Dothan, AL offers a short 90-minute drive to the Emerald Coast beaches of Florida, a low cost of living, excellent educational facilities, and traditional southern hospitality.
