This role focuses on delivering superior, compassionate care to patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries. The ideal candidate is a dedicated, detail-oriented professional capable of managing a high patient load and making critical decisions in a fast-paced environment while upholding the highest standards of patient care. Provide comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic patients before, during, and after surgery. Assess patient condition, administer medications, and monitor recovery. Collaborate with surgeons, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Educate patients and their families on surgical procedures, post-surgery care, and lifestyle adjustments. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to compliance with healthcare regulations. Strong clinical skills in a medical-surgical setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team High level of proficiency in managing multiple patients Knowledge of orthopedic surgery procedures and post-surgical care Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Certification in Orthopedic Nursing (ONC) preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
