working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in
Albany, Georgia, 31701! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN

Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years in
an Emergency Room setting License: Current RN License
Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS ASLS or NIHSS TNCC preferred
Must-Have: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience in an Acute
Care setting Experience with MEDITECH 6.15 Strong preference for
travel experience or 5 years in a Level 1 Trauma Facility
Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care in the
Emergency Room. Candidates must have 2 years of experience in an
Acute Care setting. COVID Immunization is not required, but those
not vaccinated must be willing to be tested weekly. A clinical
interview or an auto-offer can be provided based on profile and
skills review. Candidates will take an online Cardiac Rhythms test
during the hiring process, with a minimum passing score of 80%.
During orientation, candidates will complete the ESI Triage Exam.
Remediation will be provided by the Nurse Educator if needed. The
Emergency Room includes a fast track area for less acute patients.
The ER has a total of 25 monitored beds, 6 fast treatment beds, and
6 fast treatment chairs. The ER is equipped with 2 trauma bays, a
recess bay, and a dedicated stroke room. A 4-bed behavioral
lockdown area is available for psychiatric patients. The unit sees
approximately 140 visits per day, accommodating pediatric to
geriatric patients. Candidates should be familiar with both trauma
and neuro cases. Nurses will handle lab draws and IV starts
independently. The department operates with a charge nurse and has
available security and patient sitters. A dedicated triage nurse is
on staff. Center staff includes a mid-level provider and physicians
available around the clock. Candidates must be prepared for weekend
and holiday shifts as required. Scrub colors are Caribbean Blue.
