High ratings, with nearly zero physician attrition due to strong cultureLead in the realm of continuity patient care in hospitals outpatient clinic Candidate must enthusiastically participate in the education of residents through precepting, didactic lectures & collaboration with core faculty on program projects, supporting program development and innovation & creating & delivering curriculum.Faculty position offers great preparation for candidates whose professional goals include teaching family medicine or gaining valuable GME experience needed to pursue a leadership role in a primary care organizationROLESchedule-Mon-Fri; 8a 5p; on average 2 clinic days, 1 precepting day & dedicated administration time for GME education per weekNO overnight call required unless desire to participate in optional OB or inpatient adult medicine coveragePatient Volume- an average of 10-12 patients per half day in clinicProcedures- LARC insertion and removal, Pap smears, Joint injections (with and without ultrasound), Skin procedures, Incision & drainage (I&D), Toenail removals & Sterile vaginal exam/cervical checksPosition requires teaching & supervising residents providing low risk prenatal care and post-partum care. Position offers opportunity for teaching & supervision of residents in the delivery of in-patient care & low risk obstetricsEducational Department located on the hospitals state-of-the-art, 40,000 sq. ft. Medical Education Center.
