POSITION SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for
technical implementation and on-going support of current systems
applications used by Citizens. This includes coordinating IT
services such as: administration, monitoring, security,
architectural review, and integration efforts to assure initial and
ongoing system and application availability, reliability and
serviceability. The Systems Administrator ? Senior ensures that
system and application implementation, administration and on-going
support are consistently managed as a service to the business

? Model ethical behavior and execute job responsibilities in

? Responsible for the availability, reliability, serviceability of
Citizens' systems and applications.
? Coordinate and perform tasks related to multiple projects.
? Communicate and implement SLA and OLA standards for production
? Perform and document administrative tasks on a regular basis.
? Coordinate system and application configuration & management
? Adapt and adjust administrative tasks according to the changing
? Communicate with business units and assist in quality control on
a variety of projects.
? Interface with business analysts to understand business
? Interface with internal customers and departments.
? Provide hands-on day-to-day support to end-users.
? Perform software installation and patch upgrades.
? Coordinate integration services, product updates, change requests
and Tier-3 support.
? Assist in the drafting, evaluation and selection of alternative
? Serve as a central contact to follow up on technical incidents
and report findings to immediate staff and supervisors. This would
include maintaining a problem case log and all hardware and
software documentation provided during the triage process.
? Maintain accurate documentation on all systems and application
? Gather, interpret and disseminate system performance reports.
? Maintain a working knowledge of all corporate owned hardware and
? Maintain asset records for server and related equipment.
? Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve system and application
? Plan and organize work assignments and prioritize workload.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
? Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 Server Operating
? Knowledge of Microsoft systems including, Active Directory and
? Knowledge of daily Windows server administration, including
system stability, integrity, and troubleshooting
? Proficiency in upgrading of software and hardware
? At least 3 years? experience of Systems Administration in
environments with at least 50 Windows Servers
? Knowledge of the relevant computer systems, applications and
equipment to provide customer support of technical terminology,
concepts and applications.
? Knowledge of network protocols including DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP.
? Proficiency in upgrading various software and hardware
? Ability to configure, install and support new servers.
? Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
? Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication
? Ability to establish goals, objectives, and work plans.
