Job Description:

A company is looking for a Mainframe System Programer to install, maintain, and upgrade IBM and 3rd Party products in a mainframe z/OS environment using SMP/E and zOSMF, resolve incidents and disruptions, perform root cause analysis, address vulnerabilities, and collaborate with vendors and application development teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and upgrade IBM and 3rd Party products in a mainframe z/OS environment using SMP/E and zOSMF
Resolve incidents and disruptions to technology services, perform root cause analysis, and take preventative measures
Identify and address vulnerabilities across the technology environment and collaborate with vendors and application development teams

Qualifications:

Experience with mainframe z/OS environment and SMP/E and zOSMF
Ability to quickly resolve incidents and disruptions and perform root cause analysis
Knowledge of vulnerability identification and mitigation
Experience collaborating with vendors on hardware and software fixes
Ability to work with application development and support teams
