Job Title: Systems Administrator/Programmer Location: Tallahassee, FL Regular/Temporary: Regular Full/Part Time: Full-Time Job ID: 57795 Department This position is within FSUs (ITS)ITS provides reliable collaborative tools to FSU faculty, staff, and students to empower users to create value.Responsibilities Engineer solutions to meet complex business needs utilizing Azure, O365, Sharepoint, Exchange online, the powerplatform, Zoom, and identity solutions. Responsible for ensuring these systems are operational when needed, performing necessary maintenance and securing the systems.Responsible for Planning, building, designing, and creating scripted automation solutions to reduce manual effort and improve operation efficiencies. PowerShell script creation and API management of Microsoft technologies, Zoom, SharePoint, CrowdStrike, Duo, and other cloud-based technologies. Responsible for the operation and availability of these services.Offers expert guidance and advice to Information Technology Services (ITS) personnel and the Florida State University (FSU) community on intricate computing issues and software applications. Participates in addressing and resolving queries submitted to the Help Desk.Collects and analyzes usage and performance data; diagnoses problems and takes appropriate action anytime, day or night. Conducts quality assurance checks to evaluate the performance, reliability and safety of systems.Shares responsibilities for providing support 24x7. Other duties as necessary.Performs duties in compliance with ITS policies, guidelines, and processes pertaining to support requests, work orders, project management, change management, and incident management. Appropriately utilizes associated tools in accordance with ITS standards.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other appropriate degree and two years' experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience.
