Position Overview The Shipping & Receiving Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the shipping and receiving department, ensuring that all products are accurately received, stored, and shipped in a timely manner. This role involves managing a team, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in a food production environment. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee the shipping and receiving operations to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of products. Supervise and train staff in the shipping and receiving department to promote productivity and adherence to safety standards. Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and inventory management teams to ensure proper handling of raw materials and finished products. Monitor shipping and receiving processes to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies. Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse space and improve inventory accuracy and control. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in the food manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control practices. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
