Primary Objectives of Position: Conduct follow-up and retention activities for various programs. Essential Job Functions: * Human Resource Duties Coordinate hiring of new staff with Corporate HR and orientation utilizing established Dynamic Workforce Solutions procedures and adhering to requirements set forth by the CareerSource Capital Region Board. Serve as point of contact for basic human resource inquiries from staff including benefits, compensation, PTO, and other matters covered by the employee handbook and escalates accordingly when needed. Manage the internal employee recognition program. Measure Meeting deadlines with high quality work output. * Contract Deliverables Create and maintain the contract deliverables checklist for the annual workforce services contract. Responsible for working with various parties to ensure that deliverables are submitted by the established deadlines. Measure Meeting all deadlines established in the workforce services contract. * Operations Support Assist where needed in supporting project operations. Serve as main point of contact for customer service survey development, distribution, collection, and reporting. Measure Timeliness of operation support; survey response rate. * Follow-Ups Contact customers with closed cases to verify retention of employment. Enter notes in appropriate management information system within established timeframes and standards. Identify job seeker barriers and refer to appropriate resources both internal and external to assist with overcoming barriers. Refer job seekers to open and available jobs. Provide job placement or advancement and retention services. Other Job Duties: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Physical Demands/Work Environment: Physical requirements include carrying/lifting up to 5 pounds, frequently; up to 10 pounds, regularly; and up to 25 pounds, occasionally. Visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to drive an automobile and operate computer keyboard and basic office equipment; subject to carrying, lifting, twisting and reaching to perform essential job functions. Working conditions are primarily in an office environment with occasional travel to other locations. Required Competencies: Extreme Customer Service focus, learning orientation, communication proficiency, teamwork orientation, technical capacity Qualifications: Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience is required. Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and administrative or data entry position. Skills/Abilities: Ability to manage confidential information and tasks. Strong Microsoft Office skills and data entry proficiency required. Demonstrated understanding of recruitment, data entry and customer requirements for all funding streams preferred. Ability to interpret and understand program policy and establish necessary work processes and procedures. Experience with setting and managing priorities and ability to execute programmatic data entry on a timely basis. Ability to work in a fast-paced and diverse environment. Demonstrated strength with interpersonal communication skills including verbal and written required.
