Description:Shift: 2nd Shift Monday-Friday 3:30PM-2AM with 30 minute lunch breaks (5-10s) -- may have to work some Saturdays Will train on 1st shift for the first 4-6 weeks 5am - 330pm (8 hour shifts) Responsible for fabricating and welding ASME code tanks and filtration equipment, pipe and various structural equipment from blue prints and production orders. Will be welding in mostly MIG and some Fluxcore. Fabricating small assemblies, sometimes 3 to 4 parts, sometimes 20 to 30 parts. It changes in size and quantity of parts to be put together and weld. Must use independent judgement and initiative to complete projects on a timely and safe basis Understands and applies AWS welding symbols. Must have operating knowledge of preheat-cutting torch, stud welder, and hand plasma torch. Welding skills should include selecting proper wire, shielding gases, and setting wire feed speeds and voltage to obtain a balanced arc condition. Maintains work area in a neat, orderly, and safe condition Ensures adherence to safety rules and regulations and quality procedures. Completes and submits shop work orders, rework, and miscellaneous sheets to update individual utilization reports on a daily basisSkills:welder, weld, fabricator, fabricate, fabrication, welding, fabricating, fabricates, welds, cnc, mig, tig, stick, fluxcore, GMAW, FCAW, grind, shear, bend, metalTop Skills Details:welder,weld,fabricator,fabricate,fabrication,welding,fabricating,fabricates,welds,cnc,mig,tig,stick,fluxcore,GMAW,FCAW,grind,shear,bend,metalAdditional Skills & Qualifications: 6+ months of fabricating experience or school experience Ability to fabricate and weld small parts on a work table. Ability to work with verbal instructions and use small tools Proven knowledge of the American Welding Society welding symbols and codes. Must possess knowledge of welding processes GMAW and FCAW at a minimum. A strong sense of urgency, initiative, and the ability to understand and solve fabrication problems.
