Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Delivery Helper/Roof Loader to join the team.

What will my day-to-day look like?

* Participates in manually loading orders on outgoing trucks by repetitive lifting of up to 75+ lbs.
* Accompany driver to job site; assist driver by guiding truck onto and off customer's property to avoid damage.
* Participants in the proper unloading of materials to roof by repetitive lifting or using conveyor at job sites.
* Maintain cleanliness and neatness of warehouse, which could include cleaning and painting.
* Assists customers in loading vehicles.
* Count, verify and manually unload incoming orders and shipments.
* Maintain inventory in appropriate/designated storage areas in warehouse.
* Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What are the requirements?

* High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Must be a self-starter, dependable and a team player.
* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
* Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
* Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 75+ pounds frequently throughout the day
* Must have reliable transportation to work each day.
* Must be able to physically and safely deliver products on roof.
* Adhere to and understand safety policies and regulations, put safety first and utilize all provided PPE

Physical Requirements

* Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day
* Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
* Will need to access rooftops for specific deliveries

What will give me an edge over other applicants?

* Experience working with building materials helpful
* Working from Heights certification a big plus
* Forklift certification a plus
* Prior roofing experience a plus
