HELP ME GROW PROGRAM SPECIALISTThe Early Learning Coalition of Northwest Florida is looking for a candidate that has a can-do-attitude, is tenacious, energetic, hardworking, innovative, resourceful, and creative to coach early learning teachers and plan and implement professional development programming.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- - - - - - - Ensure timely completion of program-specific requirements. - - - - - - - Deliver excellent internal and external customer service by completing Help Me Grow Florida (HMGF) and the Friends, Family, and Neighbors (FFN) resource and referral services in-person and over the phone, as required. - - - - - - - Maintain, update, and make additions to the database for tracking HMGF and FFN activities. - - - - - - - Assist with Family and Community Outreach activities that develop associates and partners in the local community, promote HMGF and FFN and inform the families and community of the importance of child screening and the role of HMGF and FFN. - - - - - - - Maintain community visibility across the Coalition service area; seeks opportunities to expose the community to the Coalition, HMGF, and FFN. - - - - - - - Provide support for Coalition and HMG and FFN events and activities, as directed. - - - - - - - Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- - - - - - - Minimum of an associate degree required. Transcripts/diplomas must be provided. - - - - - - - Three (3) years minimum experience in early childhood education, community outreach, or customer service a plus. - - - - - - - Outstanding communication skills. - - - - - - - Excellent customer service skills. - - - - - - - Bilingual skills are preferred Other Requirements
- - - - - - - - Must possess a valid Florida driver's license and current automobile liability insurance policy. - - - - - - - - The selected candidate will be required to submit and pass a local and national background screen and pre-employment drug screen prior to their date of hire.
