The Role:

We are transforming technology and creating a digital evolution that empowers Centene to better serve our members. We are looking for UX Designers and Researchers at all experience levels to partner with business and IT stakeholders to plan, research, and facilitate UX processes, including design thinking/human centered design activities for service and products across digital and non-digital touchpoints and for conducting user and design research throughout the design process.

Conduct user experience research, interviews and usability tests to inform design decisions and define user problems. This is accomplished by watching end-users perform their work and determining what systems and tools can solve their problems

Utilize personas, user flows, and journey maps to help product teams and business owners better understand our users' current experience

Create low to high fidelity wireframes (illustrations) and prototypes which provide visual representation of the products

Communicate conceptual ideas, prototypes and the specifics of user-centered design process

Consistently considers the holistic user experience, potential states (errors, successes, dead-ends) and product overlaps in their own and others' work

Lead brainstorming and ideation sessions with Engineering, Data Science, Business Operations, Consumer Experience/Marketing, and Product teams

Evaluate balance of design aesthetics with technical platform capabilities and limitations

**Additionally you will bring:**

+ Bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, or equivalent experience required

+ UX experience leveraging current digital user experience and design tools such as but not limited to Adobe CC, Sketch, Figma and InVision

+ Proficient with qualitative and quantitative UX research methodologies (including mixed methods, statistical analysis)

+ Ability to facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, moderate research studies

+ Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects independently

+ Experience with user testing platforms
