Sharepoint Administrator

We are hiring! We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated, and detail-oriented self-starter to join our software developer team as a Sharepoint Administrator. Our ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Sharepoint and general web development. This position will be at one of our client offices in Tallahassee (not remote) and will focus on helping to maintain and administer the client's Sharepoint infrastructue.

• Participates in client needs analyses.
  • May participate in collection, conversion, and assembly of data in a variety of formats.
    • May participate in documentation and diagramming of business and technical requirements.
      • May participate in database/application design as it relates to the client's Sharepoint environment.
        • Develops customized applications by writing well-documented code in the applicable environment to meet documented software requirements.
          • Performs maintenance tasks on existing projects following the project's established architecture/design.
            • Prepares data documentation for projects, following prescribed Best Practices.
            • General SharePoint administration - Site creation, permissions, external sharing, document handling, etc. - With an understanding of both Modern and Classic SharePoint.
            • Management of legacy systems and migration of SharePoint on-prem to SharePoint Online.
            • Directs the maintenance and use of corporate SharePoint sites and services.
            • Collaboration with internal and external IT areas, such as Architecture, Development, Complex Products Infrastructure and Support Teams to assess and align with strategic technical direction. Why join us?

              What will you contribute?
              • Typical education is a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or comparable technical field.
              • More than 2-4 years of relevant sharepoint experience.
              • Industry certifications and relevant coursework Preferred experience includes:
                • Support of service-based architecture
                • Developing APIs for existing systems
                • Reporting and Data Analytics tools (SQL Server Reporting Services, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) What we offer at Atkins:
