Job DescriptionResponsible for maintaining patient documentation in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures.Creates, generates, and distributes statements of medical necessity (SMN's) for patients. Obtains signatures from physicians for claim submission. Maintains a tickler systems for all forms required for billing function. Tracks missing forms via phone, computer and manual logs and computer generated tracking reports. Contacts appropriate branch personnel if problems occur. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 17.02Maximum: 27.16Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required QualificationsFamiliar with medical terminology. Strong service orientation and customer service attitude. Effective verbal and written communications skills. Excellent problem solving and time management skills.Basic computer knowledge.
