Job Summary:The primary responsibility of the Patient Account Specialist (PAS) is to provide exceptional customer service to our patients, families, physicians and colleagues. It is expected that the PAS will contribute to the creation of a billable account ensuring Tallahassee Memorial Hospital's financial stability.Reports:Manager/Patient AccessSupervises:NoneRequired Education:High School Diploma or equivalentRequired Experience: Minimum: NonePreferred: Six (6) months (0.5 years) of relevant job-related experience, including direct customer service.Knowledge of medical terminology.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Computer proficiency.
