The Role
Lumen is looking for a driven, and analytical Manager, Demand
Generation to lead a group of highly motivated, tenured Sales
Development Representatives. The Sales Development team is first
interaction with prospective Lumen customers and is the key to
success of Lumen. The ideal candidate is customer obsessed,
passionate about building a successful sales team and results
oriented. To be successful, this candidate should have proven
analytical skills, ability to influence people both internally and
externally, be decisive, communicate effectively, actively listen
and able to move with agility. The Manager, Demand Generation will
be responsible for managing a team of Sales Development
Representatives (SDR) to meet and exceed their monthly lead,
conversion rates and sales goals. Ultimately, contributing to our
wider Sales team and driving the rhythm of our business.

The Main Responsibilities
Lead a staff of 8-10 Sales Development Representatives managing
performance and behavior
Onboard, coach and mentor SDRs to become professional, account
acquisition and penetration experts
Monitor and evaluate against pre-set goals implementing action
plans to resolve performance barriers as needed
Run weekly dashboards/reports to review with SDR leadership
Proactively assess, clarify, and validate MQLs generated by your
team
Perform weekly/monthly audits to ensure quality of MQLs
Regularly review and analyze key metrics to identify root causes
and formulate solutions to improve performance, and think beyond
individual campaigns and apply knowledge to future plans
Understand industry themes, customer priorities, and business
positioning
Provide mentorship and training to SDRs on how to use
technology
Develop a broad understanding of the Lumen portfolio of
solutions/products, communicate the value proposition, deliver
elevator pitches and key messaging as needed to progress the
conversation and improve conversation/meetings percentage
Establish productive, professional relationships with key
stakeholders (marketing, operations, sales)
Recruit, educate, and nurture your team to ensure ongoing success
and career progression potential
What We Look For in a Candidate
3+ years of professional, non-internship, experience
Experience managing teams
Exhibits highly ethical behavior with high integrity, daily
Strong time management, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and
collaborative selling skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills including listening
and presentation skills
Results-oriented leader who defines and manages achievement of
performance objectives
Self-starter with a history of great decision making, planning, and
execution to results
Vibrant and energetic attitude, willingness to perform and get
things done while having fun
Social selling capability, and the ability to coach and guide your
team in utilization
Ability to excel in a team-oriented, collaborative, and fast-paced
environment
Experience with Salesforce, Revenue.io, LinkedIn, Zoominfo

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for
this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums
may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills,
experience and other relevant factors.
This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales
compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for
