Early Voting AssistantPay $15.50/hour plus any OT -Start Primary - Mon, 9/11/23 at 8:30 AMEnd Primary - Wed, 11/27/24

• Overtime expected and required during Early Voting periods and on Election Days.
  
• Early Voting periods range from 9 days to 14 days in a row of 9-10-hour work schedules.
  
• Election Day will start at 6:30 AM and end at 8PM or 10PM depending on office needs
  Duties:
  
  
  • Assist in processing voter registration applications and requests, communicating both in-person and over the phone with voters, testing voting equipment, preparing and packing inventory, overseeing daily voting activity and other team members at early voting sites, and supporting voter outreach and education initiatives.
    
  • Must be a self-motivated, fast learner who is prompt, reliable, courteous to co-workers, and keep side conversations to a minimum while at work.
    
  • This is team works both in an open office, desk environment AND actively assists our Operations Team with repetitive manual labor on feet on hard floors in a warehouse environment.
    
  • Be prepared for cool or warm temperatures, depending on time of year-climate control is imperfect in the warehouse spaces.
    Must Have
    
    
    • Must have 2+ years experience in Customer Service and inventory/stock experience.
      
    • Must be able to stay focused and present with the work at hand
      
    • Must be proactive, seeking out all types of work rather than waiting for delegated tasks
      
    • Conversation and clothing must remain non-partisan and non-political while in the elections office
      
    • Requires physical stamina to lift up to twenty pounds, and manipulate voting supplies and equipment throughout the day (basic operations and logistical support tasks)
      
    • Requires standing or walking for long periods of time throughout the day
      
    • Requires basic operating knowledge of computers
      
    • Must enjoy being of service to voters and co-workers
