JOB SUMMARY:

This position in the Office of Financial Management (OFM) will perform purchasing and contract administration functions and related data management duties, as well as traditional purchasing duties. Duties include:

  • Procure goods and services as assigned utilizing the MFMP or Procurement card (Pcard) ensuring all purchases are made in accordance with established laws, rules regulations and procedures.
  • May act as backup agency administrator for the (MyFloridaMarketPlace) MFMP system. Grant and manage security access to the MFMP system. Perform administrative activities such as training, password resets, and workflow changes. Perform quarterly security review and review weekly terminated employee list to ensure only active and approved employees are granted access to the system. Assist in developing training materials and user manuals for MFMP related topics. Assist agency staff to troubleshoot MFMP problems and answer questions. Distribute information to the Department of Revenue (DOR) MFMP users in the field concerning system updates and changes. Attend user group meetings related to the MFMP system.
  • Process requests for access to the DOR's Contract Accountability and Tracking System (CATS) and the DFS Florida Accountability Contract Tracking System (FACTS) and perform quality assurance functions related to the systems.
  • Assist in the timely response to public information requests for procurement and contract information. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
    • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
    • Four (4) years or more of State of Florida governmental purchasing, accounting, finance, and/or budgeting experience in a professional environment.
    • Two (2) years or more experience using Microsoft Office products. SUBSTITUTIONS:
      • Education can substitute on a year for year basis for the required experience. PREFERENCES:
        • Six (6) years or more of State of Florida governmental purchasing, accounting, finance, and/or budgeting experience in a professional environment.
        • Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM).
        • Experience working with Ariba on Demand / MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP).
          SALARY: $44,200.08 - $46,500.00
