(NOK), an Alaska Native Corporation (ANC). KA is an SBA certified 8(a) company specializing in programmatic, operational, logistics, engineering support, and electrical support services.We are searching for an experienced Electrical Project Manager. The PM will perform in a support role, with limited decision-making authority. The Project Manager will be required to provide frequent supervision and guidance. He / She assists in planning and carrying out policies relating to the management of construction projects by performing the duties listed below. They will have a basic understanding of the role and KA policies/procedures but will require frequent oversight and assistance to complete a project.In a typical day the PM may do the following:

  • Assist in managing subcontractors and coordinating subcontractor work to ensure the project schedule is met
  • Assist in conceptual development of work plans, and project implementation
  • Possess rudimentary scheduling skills, with an understanding of scheduling concepts
  • Read and understand the Accident Prevention Plan and execute the plan to include all documentation
  • Develop and implement a working knowledge of the client required safety programs, whether private or the Corps of Engineer safety manual/requirements,
  • Develop and understand infection control standards and methods
  • Ensure all work is installed per the work plan document and that quality is met by utilizing the QCP
  • Proper use of the deficiency log. Performs timely inspections and uses the deficiency log to have a 0-punch list project
  • Identify and assist in resolving problems and conflicts early by utilizing specific controls established in the QCP
  • Effectively participate in Owners meeting to ensure there is a complete understanding of the project and any current issues or outstanding questions
  • Issue agenda stating issues and objectives of the meeting; issued in enough time to ensure a productive meeting and produces the minutes of those meetings
  • Assists in preparing our pay requisition to the customer and subcontractors' invoices to accounting
  • Assist in Writing and executing subcontracts and the scope of work
  • Manage schedule, close out and job cost with senior management oversight
  • Manage the QC and Safety program with senior management oversight
  • Develop monthly progress reports to the customer
  • Develop Monthly Risk Reports; montly progress reports to the customer and manage the submittal process
  • Continually developing skills and qualities in work procurement.Top candidates will have an electrical trade/technical experience with a minimum of 3 years of direct experience in a related field. CoE CQM Certification, OSHA 30, First Aid / CPR / AED, and EM 385-1-1 certificate.
