Job Description:

Inspired Technologies is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Electrician Helper/Apprentice. Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Education and Experience of Electrician Helper/Apprentice (Residential and Commercial Applications):

High School Diploma from an Electrical Trades program
1 year Residential / Commercial Electrical experience
1 year experience in conduit and cable tray installation.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities of Electrician Helper/Apprentice (Commercial/Residential):

Candidate must be able to install conduit and cable tray
Candidate must be able to operate a service truck.
Candidate will receive daily instruction from Supervisor of assignments to be completed.
Candidate must review assignments to assure understanding of the goals to be accomplished.
Candidate must have all work performed in the safest manner and within company and OSHA standards. Report accidents immediately to Safety Manager.
Candidate must perform duties in compliance with company procedures and policies.
Candidate must be able to pull wiring through conduit.

Requirements of Electrician Helper/Apprentice:

Candidate must possess documents that establish identity and employment authorization.
Candidate must have reliable transportation.
High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
Candidate must have the ability to pass a drug screening and a criminal background check.
Candidate must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds properly.

Candidate may be required to perform the following:

Climb step ladders and extension ladders
Work from a raised platform
Climb stairs
Operate tools properly and safely

Electrician Helper/Apprentice may be required to properly operate the following tools:

All drills
All roto hammer drills
Conduit hand bender
Hacksaw/bandsaw
Ladders 6' tall A from 40' extension
Various testing equipment for ohm, voltage, and current.
