Responsibilities

As a Workday Financials Consultant your career growth and a typical day may include:

+ Becoming a subject matter expert in aspects of the Workday Financial Management solution

+ Keeping up to date with the latest thought leadership on Finance thinking, tools and techniques in your area of expertise

+ Understanding and applying the Workday and Guidehouse methodologies

+ Learning and understanding client requirements to partner in the design, architect, configuration and testing of the Workday Financial Management solution

+ Actively participate in all stages of the Guidehouse Way methodology for implementing Workday Financial Management solutions

+ Demonstrate design options using prototyping

+ Support the Financials Lead in architecting the Workday Financials solution to ensure cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated

+ Support Integrations and Data leads with conversion activities and requirements

+ Advise clients on industry standards and leading practices

Qualifications

+ 1+ years of financial consulting experience

+ 1+ years of experience deploying Workday or other Financial systems such as Oracle E-Business, PeopleSoft, SAP, or similar applications

+ Experience working with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking and Cash, or Business Assets

+ Ability to translate business requirements into system requirements

+ Advanced analytical and technical skills evidenced by role in previous projects

+ Excellent communication, written and verbal

+ Bachelor's degree is required

Preferred:

+ Workday Financials Certified

+ Proficiency in multiple business processes such as Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, or Budget to Report

+ Experience working within the public sector

+ Experience working with Financial Statements

+ Accounting Degree

Additional Requirements

+ The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.

+ This position is open to candidates virtually from Montana, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Arizona or Eastern, Pacific, and Central time zones.
