Supply Chain PLC Product Manager

Job DescriptionThe Supply Chain Gladius Product Manager is a key
contributing driver for helping to ensure the overall success of
Intel's corporate-level Gladius initiative to gain industry lead on
our technology and product portfolio.The Product Manager will be
primarily responsible for directing, consulting, and collaborating
with corporate business units (BUs) such as CCG, DCAI, AXG, NEX on
the PLC supply chain requirements for their product releases guided
by overall Gladius principles. They will engage these BUs early on
from the product concept planning phase into its engineering
organizational phase to make sure that Design-for-Supply-Chain
principles are built-in and ultimately inherent within the PLC.The
Product Manager will also partner with various functional and
subject matter experts across Intel's supply chain organizations
(which includes MSO, CPG and areas within IFS) to gather,
consolidate and represent its core interests at all of the key
product planning and execution forums. They will serve as a
contributing partner between supply chain and the various Intel BUs
to ensure each organization is getting the appropriate resources
and voice critical for our on-time, product launch goals.The
successful candidate will provide regular updates on Gladius/PLC
activities and escalate issues to appropriate senior management,
making this a highly visible and critical role in shaping the
supply chain for our Intel product roadmap.The Product Manager role
will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Represents Supply Chain and provides Supply Chain data, options
and solutions to the team that supports Intel's product
- Develops a product profile (performance, schedule, cost,
planning, manufacturing, BOM, IP, etc. characteristics).
- Leads X-functional Supply Chain (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver,
Services) Assessments of product characteristics to identify Supply
Chain risks and Supply Chain adaptations resulting from Product
- Ensures Design for Supply Chain and its implications are
considered in the product design decision.
- Escalates high supply chain risks to Gladius SC PLC Forum.The
ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:
- Team player that can work in a high-paced, dynamic environment
while being able to drive diverse resource coordination utilizing
program management skills.
- Possesses solid knowledge of end-to-end supply chain
- Knowledge in product design and architecture building blocks,
SOC and platform development processes.
- Knowledge in product development PLC maturity.
- Leads x-functional matrixed team.
- Solid influencing skills to drive product decisions across
teams by their expertise and databased assessments.
- Bring the voice of Supply Chain into short term and strategic
- Willing to orchestrate activities between product and SC
- Manage issues/risks from SC perspective.
- Innovates and looks at ways for supply chain to create value
and be a competitive advantage to Intel.
- Knowledgeable of internal and external Fab/Test/Advanced
packaging Manufacturing processes and flow. Having an ATTD, Fab,
QnR, Planning, Logistics, Integration existing network is
beneficial.QualificationsYou must possess the below minimum
qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum
requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top
candidates.This position is not eligible for Intel immigration
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or any related
field of study.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in product design and
architecture, including capability to map product requirements to
fab process nodes and packaging technology offerings. And/or
Internal and External Fab/Test/Advanced Packaging Manufacturing
Processes and Flow.Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Supply Chain Engineering or any related field
- 5+ years of experience in Intel's Supply Chain Process and

ModelThis role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which
allows employees to split their time between working on-site at
their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances
the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
