**Overview**
**Systems Analyst**
As a National Laboratory, we offer a unique blend of opportunities

responsibilities include working with stakeholders and business
customers to investigate, write, and prioritize requirements to be
worked by the engineering team responsible for building and
maintaining PNNL's business systems. Your work will support the
maintaining and operating existing business information systems,
partnering with clients to define, build and deliver innovative
software solutions to complex business and scientific problems;
working with effective teams from multiple disciplines; researching
and writing business requirements. Work with teams and users to
implement requirements and validate expected outcomes. As a member
of a stable team, you are expected to develop knowledge of the
goals of projects or business partners you are supporting as well
as the business domain you are supporting.
**Responsibilities**
Your key responsibilities and accountabilities would include:
+ Define, prioritize, and streamline the backlog stories for the
team.
+ Perform research and analysis of existing systems and business
rules to establish requirements for new product features and
maintenance of existing systems.
+ Work collaboratively as part of an agile development team to
mature user stories by facilitating requirements discussions,
providing details and documenting acceptance criteria.
+ Support engineering teams through the development,
implementation, and operation of business applications.
+ Provide individual contribution to supporting software releases
including testing, facilitating product demos, holding team
retrospectives, and investigating issues.
+ Collaborate with business stakeholders and program managers to
achieve business outcomes and program priorities.
+ Work with technology staff in supporting the sustainability and
integrity of technical underpinnings for the systems under
development.
**Qualifications**
Minimum Qualifications:
+ BS/BA and 5+ years of relevant work experience -OR-
+ MS/MA and 3+ years of relevant work experience -OR-
+ PhD with 1+ year of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Jira, Confluence and PowerBI.
Experience leveraging Agile methodologies include Scrum with
experience as a Scrum Master a plus
Enhance personal technical and professional skills through active
mentoring and training.
Exceptional communicator with both technical and nontechnical
audiences
Knowledge and experience writing user stories (business
requirements) for the purpose of developing of complex software
Knowledge and experience leveraging SQL to mine and analyze
data
Customer service oriented and approachable
Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing
priorities
Experience developing wireframes, mockups, and/or use cases for
software applications
Experience testing client facing web-based applications
Knowledge of APIs and RESTful Web Services
